Can the world be happy for 100 days in a row?
Beginning March 20, the United Nations Foundation and 100happydays encourage every person to find happiness in their daily life.
During the 100 day marathon, people in 193 countries share a picture of what makes them happy. Using hashtags #happyday and #100happydays hashtags for 100 days, we can watch happiness taking over the world.
Get inspired with what makes the world and each participating country happier.
At the end of the challenge, 100 of the most inspirational happiness stories will be collected into a book available for donations to the UN Foundation and 100happydays Foundation.
Happy Planet = Happy People
Sign the Live Earth petition, bringing together 1 billion voices with one message:
Take climate action now! Sign the petition urging world leaders to commit to tackling climate change by adopting a new global agreement on climate at the summit in Paris this December.
To protect people, we need to protect our planet. Climate change is a threat to many of life’s basic needs: water, food, shelter, and safety. When those needs are not met, economic, social and environmental crises get worse.
